National Standby Repair Inc. sells, installs and services standby generators across New York, Connecticut and New Jersey from Cold Spring, NY. This page says what we collect from you on this website, what we do with it, and who else touches it. It is short because we do not do much with your information beyond getting back to you.

What we collect

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, whether you are already a customer, what you need, and your message. We use this to answer you about the job. The form does not ask for a phone number and does not sign you up for text messages.
  • Careers application. Your name, email address, your answers about experience, and your resume. We use it only to consider you for the job.
  • Homeowner's guide download. Your name, email address, whether you are a customer, and your generator type, so we can send you the guide.
  • Chat widget. Your name, phone number and message, plus your choice to receive texts if you tick the consent box. The widget is the only place on this site that asks for a phone number or for text-message consent. Those texts are sent by Esker Designs, LLC, the registered message sender for this site, on behalf of National Standby Repair Inc..
  • Site analytics. Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records the pages you visit and roughly where you are. We use it to see which pages people read. You can block it with a browser setting or extension.

How we use it

To answer your question, give you a quote, schedule the work, and follow up on the job. If you opted in through the chat widget, we may also text you offers and promotions from National Standby Repair Inc., along with messages about your job and scheduling. We do not sell your information.

Text messaging

Text messages from this website are sent by Esker Designs, LLC, 70 Lenord Lane, Warren, VT 05674, on behalf ofNational Standby Repair Inc.. Esker Designs, LLC holds the phone number and consent you give in the chat widget and passes your message to us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by telling us by phone or email. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Who else handles it

The website is hosted on Netlify, which also receives contact, careers and guide form submissions. The chat widget and text messaging run on LeadConnector, under the Esker Designs, LLC account. All of them act on our instructions to deliver your message to us and ours to you. Google Analytics is the only tracker on the site.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your details as long as we need them for the job and our records. Ask and we will delete what we hold about you, except what we have to keep for tax or insurance reasons.
